473 Methamphetamine Pills Seized in Kangiqsualujjuaq

The KRPF executed a search warrant in Kangiqsualujjuaq on April 19, which led to the seizure of 473 methamphetamine pills. The street value of the seizure is estimated at $23,650.

On April 18, the KRPF received a tip from the public, which led officers to ask for a search warrant. The warrant was obtained and was executed on April 19.

In the dwelling, the officers seized 473 methamphetamine pills with a street value estimated at $23,650. 

"It's the second seizure in one week in Kangiqsualujjuaq", said Captain Maxime Mercier. "We hope that this seizure will encourage people to continue sharing information on suspicious activities in order to make the community safer".​

The investigation is ongoing.​
