Nunavik Police Service members receive a competitive salary and interesting benefits as part of their employment.
Salary
The following table represents the Nunavik Police Service’s salary structure as of January 2023:

New employees are integrated into the salary scale considering the number of years they have worked as a police officer within a recognized police organization.
Benefits
- An annual bank of 8 weeks that can be used as paid leave (equivalent to two full rotations):
- 6% employer RRSP contribution;
- Group Insurance;
- A furnished apartment when in Nunavik;
- Financial incentive applicable to new graduates of the ENPQ: the NPS will reimburse tuition fees paid to the ENPQ to a police officer whom a police organization has not previously employed if the NPS has employed her/him for three calendar years;
